NEET dene ka plan hai aur 12th ke marks ko lekar tension ho rahi hai? Pehle eligibility ka rule clearly samajh lo. Sirf overall board percentage dekhkar yeh decide nahi hota ki aap NEET ke liye eligible hain ya nahi.

NEET eligibility mein aapke Physics, Chemistry aur Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) subjects aur prescribed qualifying requirements important hote hain. Isliye agar aapke overall Class 12 marks expected se kam bhi aaye hain, to sirf total percentage dekhkar NEET ka plan chhodne ki zaroorat nahi hai.

Haan, board exams mein achhe marks lana definitely valuable hai. Achha academic score aapki consistency aur subject understanding ko reflect karta hai—but NEET eligibility aur NEET selection do alag cheezein hain.

Toh NEET ki preparation shuru karne se pehle ek baar apni category aur Class 12 subjects ke according eligibility check kar lena smart rahega. Aage hum General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST aur PwBD candidates ke applicable Class 12 requirements ko simple language mein samjhenge.

1. Category-Wise Minimum Marks Requirement (PCB Aggregate)

NEET eligibility ke liye aapko 12th Board mein Physics, Chemistry, aur Biology/Biotechnology teeno subjects ke practical aur theory marks mila kar minimum required percentage score karni hoti hai:

Important Note: PCB percentage calculate karte waqt English ya kisi doosre subject ke marks jode nahi jaate. Sirf Physics + Chemistry + Biology ke total marks ka average nikala jaata hai. Halan ki, 12th mein English subject mein individual pass hona zaroori hai.

PCB Percentage Calculate Kaise Karein? (Example)

Maan lijiye 12th Board exam mein aapke PCB subjects mein out of 100 in-hand marks in-tarah hain (Theory + Practical mila kar):

  • Physics: 55
  • Chemistry: 50
  • Biology: 60

Total PCB Marks: 55 + 50 + 60 = 165 (Out of 300)
PCB Percentage: (165 / 300) × 100 = 55%

Is example mein 55% score hai, jo ki General Category ke required 50% criteria se zyada hai, isliye student NEET exam ke liye 100% eligible hai.

2. Key Rules Regarding 12th Board Subjects

  • Appearing Students: Jo students abhi 12th Board ke exams de rahe hain (Appearing Status), wo bhi NEET ka form bhar sakte hain. Bas admission counseling ke waqt unhe required percentage ki mark sheet show karni hogi.
  • Open School / NIOS: Open school (NIOS ya State Open Boards) se 12th pass karne wale students bhi NEET ke liye eligible hain.
  • Additional Biology: Agar kisi student ne 12th Maths se pass kiya tha aur baad mein Biology/Biotechnology ko as an Additional Subject pass kiya hai, wo bhi NEET de sakta hai.

Conclusion: NEET dene ke liye 12th mein 90% ya top ranker hona zaroori nahi hai. Agar aap General category mein hain toh 12th PCB mein 50% aur Reserved category mein hain toh 40% marks lake bhi aap doctor banne ke sapne ko poora kar sakte hain!
